Travel Pillow

Trip around the world.

Trip around the world.

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Scrap Quilting »

Instructions

Remember to iron before attaching to the next row and pin, pin, pin! It was a fun if hurried project. My pillow is smaller becuse I used the 2 1/2 " jelly roll fabric rather than cutting the 3 1/2 " squares. I did use leftovers and feel I met the scrapy theme of the class as well as learning how to place the corners.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Classic, Retro / Vintage

Materials

I used scraps from a jelly roll project. 100% cotton from M&M Museum. This will match with the quilt top I finished. This will be a gift for an older person.

What was your inspiration?

I am wanting to do gifts and charity projects. One to give memorable things and one to do something for other people in this world.

What are you most proud of?

Completion

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun choosing fabrics you like and you will have fun puting the project together.

Thanks Pepper Coroy I want to learn more about color placement, especially choosing from scraps!
