I really like the pattern, with the material you chose it looks very effective. I have saved it to use for when I do my travel pillow!

I just used 3 inch finished blocks according to the size of the pillow and sewed them in a diagonial pattern. This pillow is crib size.

This would be a great project for a young girl (or boy...nothing wrong with boys and men sewing!!) to start with....very easy to do. Just cutting squares and putting them together in rows and then sewing the rows together. And you can make it any size you want...LOVE IT!

sorry Joann, but if you look at it closely, they don't always match up.....which is why I love it....shows me that even if my seams don't match perfectly it's still ok!!

I am not usually a fan of the color purple - but I really like your pillow! I like your fabric choices - it has nice blend and movement. Great job!!! :)
