What materials did you use? Cotton fabrics, zippers, jute webbing

Love this bag, and it will hold a lot. In order to make the bag washable, pre-shrink your jute webbing (separately from your fabrics). You'll need to buy more than called for in the pattern as it shrinks quite a bit. Also, if your webbing has red threads running along either side ~ beware ~ it bleeds. This bag fits the requirements for airline carry-on bags!

Great tips on shrinking the jute - it does shrink a ton and bleed. That is why I like to make mine dry clean only. They do come out great from the dry cleaner too. I am glad you made a washable one for people to admire and learn from. It's so cheerful and fun. I bet you get a ton of compliments.

Thank you Cherie. I'm anxious to start using my bag. Everyone who has seen it wants one!
