Alot of elbow grease used and various plants and seeds either given to us or purchased at garage sales or end of season discounts at a garden center.
What was your inspiration?
When we purchased the home which is a corner lot it was so overgrown and neglected that is was a hazard for vehicles and people walking and it just looked horrible.
What are you most proud of?
We still have so much more work yet to do but it looks clean and bright and it now has some colour. It is simple and it makes you smile.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
First stand out at the area.. shake your head and then take your time and let the area you are working on tell you what it needs and what it should looks like.. gardens like to talk.
