What was your inspiration?
I wanted to give my great-nephew a baby quilt for his Christening.
I loved the three fabrics of the trains, planes and automobiles and decided to incorporate them all in one quilt. I then came across the Pick up Sticks block from FreshLemonsQuilts and thought this would make it more interesting and fun.
What are you most proud of?
I am very pleased with how it turned out, as the quilt can be used either side - back or front. Joshua's parents were so pleased with their gift and hopefully little Joshua will love it too when old enough!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time choosing material and block pattern - I did and I think it is worth it.
