Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Children

Style: Traditional, Funky

Materials

Cotton Fabric

What was your inspiration?

I always wanted to make one of these but thought it way above my capabilities. When I saw it offered in the Block of The Month I thought I might try it. I replayed the lesson about 10 times, then jumped right in. I have 8 more of these to do so I am confident Ill get better as I go.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud that I went way out of my comfort zone and had good results. Makes me think I can do more than just beginner quilting now.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Go Fo IT and know your machine. I had to read my manual to review my stitch selection and the practice, parctice, practice.!
