Follow Amy's wonderful directions. Make sure that you print out the instructions. It goes together very well.If you have dark fabrics in your plate, make very sure you make your center w/ a backing. That way they do not show through as easily.

How it all came together.
How the hand applique turned out. My machine do not like all of the seams. So, I wanted this one to be just so.
Hence, hand applique.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure that if you have dark fabrics in your plate, that you DO back your center so you do not have those fabrics showing through. I know I said this before, but, this is a very good point. :-)
Just a note; I have not been trimming my blocks. I will wait until I am ready to put them all together.
