Very pretty Ms Quilty! I love the multi-colored stitching. Really sets the whole piece off.

What an excellent idea! My new sewing machine has lots of fancy stitches and I hadn't thought of using them in the middle of the Dresden plate. It's really nice - particularly done in the variagated thread. My only problem would be guilding the machine so that the centre circle wouldn't have "corners"!
