What was your inspiration?
The inspiration came from the fabric. It is like sunshine and when I made the flower I wanted to sew something that would show it off:-)
What are you most proud of?
I learnt sewing the tote bag during a sewing class so I am very proud that I remembered at home a few months later and that I could add a handmade flower for unique-ness:-)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a very good beginner's project, only straight lines on the machine. I would advice to iron the fabric before you start and after each step so that you get a nice, crisp finish. As this is a tote bag I made it from a strongish material for durability.
