What advice would you give someone starting this project? Copper takes longer to torch fire--5 to 7 minutes or longer--so you need patience.

Hi! I love the texture and the curve you gave these - and how you combined them with the crystals. Some of the students are trying out the copper clay first before the silver - what words of wisdom can you tell them as they work with it? Welcome to the class!!

what brand copper clay did you use?

This piece was made with Art Clay's Copper Clay. It is the only copper clay that can be both torch fired or kiln fired. They have just improved the formulation. I like it, but I have also used Hadar's Copper Clay but it can't be torch fired.
