make sure you get the right size styrofoam separators,didn"t have time to go get the right one for the top tier which was too big,did not get the right slant or look.

What was your inspiration?

Richards class and a lot of Mickey cakes i"ve been seeing and wanting to do.

What are you most proud of?

That it stayed up and did not fall over.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just what I stated in the instruction part about the right size separators.

Thank you clinton_c1027214,the ears are made out of a 50/50 mix of gumpaste and fondant with toothpicks stuck in one end then stuck into a half styrofoam ball covered in fondant.

This cake is fabulous! It doesn't matter that you put the top separator the wrong way round - this way makes it look like Mickey is dancing :) I love it!!

Great Job! Had you had the top separator facing the other way, you would have achieved the right look. Great concept.
