100% cotton fabric & thread. I had a ladybug novelty print that I really wanted to use for my nieces' quilts. It features very brightly coloured ladybugs on a black background. I had a lot of fun finding other fabrics to match.
What was your inspiration?
I just had to make something for my only sister's girls - I love them like my own. Also, I loved this ladybug fabric and thought it would reflect the appreciation and even love of bugs the girls have learned from their dad.
What are you most proud of?
I love the fun, bright colours ...I think I chose well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Keep your various cut pieces organized - LOL!
