Another gorgeous jacket Pam. May I ask, what size of shoulder pads do you use and did you make your own. I have seen so many different ways of making them and would love to hear your comments on how to make shoulder pads.

I usually use 1/4" shoulder pads or no more than 1/2". I get them from WAWAK sewing supplies. There are also some beautiful shoulder pads available from Professional Sewing Supplies in Seattle. Hisako does not have a website, you will need to contact her by email. The ones from WAWAK are Ladies uncovered needle punch pads (set in sleeve style) and since they work so well, I have not needed to make my own. The ones Hisako has come in varied shapes (set in, raglan, etc.) I hope that you are able to get some, they are great!

Hi again Pam, I actually live in the UK, Is Hisako at the Professional Sewing supplies company that you mention? I would like to trace this supplier as your jackets shoulder line looks just as I would want mine to look like. I have made my own in the past, but after researching various ways of making them, I have forgotten which method I used.........dumb fading blonde for sure!!

You can reach her at: Please let her know that I recommender her company to you. She has many wonderful products such as fusible interfacings, Japanese cotton hand basting thread, glass head pins (the ones I use), etc. Best of luck!
