I love this button-all-the-way mod. (I don't need a triangle highlighting my own "natural" triangle!!) Great sleeve detail...

You did a great job. I wear mine every day and want to make another one. I went up two sizes to a 44 and it worked great for me, I always go 2 inches more and with this one it works great wearing it over sweat shirts or blouses.

I'm a size 34 so I have made the 36. It has come up really snug. I have already bought the wool to make a 38 or 40. My college tutor wants to buy the one I am working on!

Beaytiful! I'm concerned because I'm not able to try my sweater on because the neck is too tight to go over my head. When you cut your sweater did the neck stretch a bit?

I was actually able to get mine over my head easily to try it on. The neckline did stretch a bit when the steek was cut open, but not that much. Decision time! Good luck, Cathy

Mine was so tight but I could just pop it over my head. I took it into my LYS and the owner said that it was knitted too tight. I had to rip it out and start over. Even though I lost a few days knitting time, I am so glad I took the time to get it to fit better.

Thank you Aunt Lili and Cathy for your responses. Both are extremely helpful to a novice sweater knitter like me. I think I will be trying on the sweater a lot as I go along. Thanks for the tip about the arm hole. I read in other posts that the Lopi yarn does not allow for easy "tinking" if you make a mistake. So, I'm glad you brought that issue to light. :) Cathy, I saw your post on Ravlery with more photos. Again, you have a great fit and I love the back of the sweater, too. Just the right amount of ease. Aunt Lili, please let me know how you are progressing on your sweater as well.

I love this sweater and my yarn just came. I also could fit smaller, but went ahead and bought yarn for a large instead of the medium. I don't want it being too tight either. I love the way yours does in the main picture. Also the color looks lovely on you. I chose a light lilac and white with a darker purple for the accent.

Just beautiful. I love the way it fits with a bit of ease. Did you knit your size or did you go up a size? I can't wait to start my sweater but am having trouble deciding on the size. I want a fit like yours. You should be very proud of your sweater.

Sorry to introject, but for what it's worth, I'd go up a size. I have a 35 inch bust and made a 36, which is way too small, even though I got the stated gauge. I'll be making a 38 next time.

Thanks for your input. This will be my first sweater, and I really want it to turn out great. Do you think going up 2 sizes would be okay or too much? Thanks

Can't say yet. I'm going to go up one size. The main problem is the depth of the armhole, You might go up one size, make the yoke, try it on, and see what you think. You can increase to the next size from there if necessary.

Thanks so much! I am about a 39" bust and I knit the 42" size. I like a lot of ease also. I really love the ribbed border she used and I think I'll use it on other sweaters - nice and loose. Cathy
