What was the most difficult part? the shaping or the lace? This is so pretty.

Thanks! The lace pattern is only a 4-st repeat, The biggest challenge, as in any lace pattern, is keeping the pattern correct while working the shaping. As you add sts, you have to remember to not work any decrease without the yo that goes with it, and vice versa. The st pattern is written out and charted, but you'll need to refer to the chart in a number of places, because the pattern has you start with a particular st in the pattern. Also, the Back and Front begin with a WS row, so you'll be working the chart from left to right on the first row.

Yes, the most difficult part of this design is short-row shaping for the sleeve caps while working the lace patten. Fortunately, the lace pattern not very complicated.
