Coyote Canine teeth, Ma'a Shan Turquoise, copper, and leather.

What was your inspiration?

I saw the teeth on e-Bay and had to have them. I love Chinese Turquoise from the Ma'a Shan mine because of the rich coloration ranging from rich brown, green, copper on the blue green of the stone with copper is beautiful. My philosophy on jewelry making is Tribal. I use as many components the pieces allows from every continent and ethnic group. We all originate from one set of parents no matter who we are. I try to represnt that in my pieces. I am of Asian decent, so my work will generally reflect that.

What are you most proud of?

The way the necklace lays. I had my hubby try it on and it lays great on the skin and around the neck.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

GO for it!
