What was your inspiration?

Diana Rupp's sewing manual - Sew Everything Workshop. The red bag is modified with longer shoulder straps and a longer body. The gold bag is exactly as the pattern in written.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud that I was able to modify the pattern myself and have it come out well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

In Diana's class she continually stresses ironing, ironing, and more ironing. The textbook doesn't stress as much. The only way this comes out looking right is to iron the seams inside, outside, before grading, after grading, on and on. Ironing makes a big difference.
