What was your inspiration?

This is nothing to do with Inspiration. I apologise for the number of project posts. You can only post one photo per question and I would like feedback on the whole toile, not just one view. I think this toile looks correct at the front. The side seam still seems to swing slightly forward. The back looks quite wrinkly and as though there is a fair bit of extra fabric in the upper rear thigh area. However they are comfortable to wear, sit and walk in, so I am not sure if anything else needs to be done. I will await further feedback though as I was pretty happy last time :-)

What are you most proud of?

My persistence!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

See previous posts.

HI Hekruger - this is the long pants pattern used in Sandra Betzina's pant fitting and pant construction class. I just cut it off to a shorts level. Are you taking this class?

P.S. You seem to have the same problem I have with the back center seam hanging inwards rather than straight down. I don't know how to correct this. Anyone have any ideas? Luisa

Una, I have the same problem in back. Sandra tells me to loosen the high hip area to reduce diagonal wrinkles & also to fold out excess below the back crotch point straight across, & add it back at the bottom of the back leg to even out the length. Luisa

Una, you're making noticable progress with your toiles. Congratulations! JoyceP, ( a fellow classmate who's been procrastinating)
