What was your inspiration?
My 18 month old niece kept stealing my mitts and socks. So I made her some knee socks and and tiny mitts of her own. The socks are just 2x2 ribbed tube socks and the mitts were knit in the round then back and forth to create the thumb hole then back to circular. She loved them and according to my sister stopped wearing her socks on her hands.
What are you most proud of?
That they fit her!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Tiny mitts were a little challenging but were worth it in the end.
