I used an knit shirt I had purchased at Goodwill, It was a juniors ( I think) size small. It had a v-neck bodice. the front bodice wouldn't work for a toddler so I used the back of the original top as the front of the dress, I cut the back from the remaining fabric of the top. Materials

The polka dot part is a t-shirt that I found at Goodwill and the skirt is almost like lightweight denim.

What are you most proud of?

Making the entire dress without a pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to try stuff. I didn't think i could sew clothing without a pattern but this turned out ok so be brave

Probably about a 2T the little girl I made it for is 2 and wears 2 and 3T
