Instructions

Adapted from this pattern. I added elastic to the wrists and also backed the main body part with laminated fabric. Then added snaps so the bottom part could be tucked up to form a pocket to collect the spills!

where did you find the lamented cotton fabric? i used to make them out of terry cloth that was backed with a rubber type material. i used this fabric as the back and it protected the spills from going thru to their clothing. can't find this kind of fabric anywhere.

These are my first like this but I don't see why you can't... the original pattern is very basic. My 11 month great niece tried hers out yesterday... the sleeves were a little short, looked like 3/4 sleeves but still did the job of not allowing food all the way up her arms LOL. Apart from that they were roomy but not excessive. What size were you thinking of?
