What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't let them (fabrics) touch each other in the washing machine before the tub is filled and agitating.

GREEN: I just figured out what caused the two wavy lines. I only half filled the container. I swapped ends of the fabric roll in the container, resting it at an angle each time. The roll at opposite angles and alternating ends in the container became wavy lines... :)

Yes, own mixes. I had great plans to keep meticulous notes, paper & pen ready. It lasted through the first two mixes, then I totally forgot about it. ADD & over 60. Some tricks just don't stick in the memory file when I get in the groove
