What was your inspiration?
I love everything toadstool and I love making peg people with acorn caps as hats. Once I had painted the acorn cap red and added the white dots, I needed something to dress Tabatha Toadstool up. I did not want to make a simple cape.
What are you most proud of?
The felt mushroom cap and the fact that I designed Tabatha myself.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice the French knot stitch on a scrap piece of fabric if you've never done it before. It's very easy though, and looks great.
