What materials did you use? Background fabric: 2 2/3 yards; Framing fabric: 2/3 yard white fabric; Solid triangle fabric: yard light tone-on-tone or solid; yard dark tone-on-tone or solid; Fabric for crazy-pieced triangle: 10 orange print fat eighths (9" x 22"); Backing fabric: 2 yards; Binding fabric: yard; Batting (low-loft cotton): 49" x 66";

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The triangle shapes are cut from crazy-pieced fabric. I demonstrate how to create crazy piecing from strips in my new Craftsy class. Pay attention to the values of your fabrics and make sure you include a variety for best results.
