What materials did you use? Acrylic paint, index cards

What are you most proud of? That I finally got it done. I first chose orange for my pure color but it did not make very pretty colors. So I then decided to try a bright pink for my pure color and the results were more pleasing. I was very happy with the tint/tone scale as they are some of my favorite colors.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the time to do this exercise. You learn a lot about color. I cut the index cards in half to save on paint and time.

Fantastic! What beautiful hues you have painted. Don't you feel as if you understand color so much more now that you have painted? Thanks for sharing. Joen.

Yes, I do feel like I have a much better understanding of color. I understand tints, tones and shades and what they mean on the color wheel that bought a long time ago. I think it would really be fun to paint more of these scales in other colors but I need to get back to quilting.

Your work is wonderful:). Planning to purchase the paints and get started working on my many challenges with color. What a wonderful course this is!

I thought I could just go through the lessons and not paint since my arm and hand are in a cast I thought I could skip the painting part. I have realized I will not get all that I want out of the class that way so my ordered paints should arrive today...you helped to inspire me so thank you.

I must admit that I have not completed the class but this part was most helpful and fun. I do need to get back to it. Enjoy your "painting".
