What was your source for this quilting project? Improvisational

What materials did you use? My son asked me to make a quilt for his wife. He said she loves Tinkerbell, so I found Tinkerbell fabric, fussy cut Tink and chose my other fabrics from the print in the Tinkerbell fabric. Then I made up my pattern as I went along. It was a I think I'll do this process. I do that a lot with my quilts. I sent my son a picture of the finished project and he said she will love it! I bet she has to fight my 4 year old granddaughter for it. I have to send it to Denver, so she won't get it for a little while. This quilt is so big, it took me forever. Huge sigh of relief when I finished. It's not perfect but it is truly a labor of love.

What are you most proud of? I love how the quilt turned out. So pretty, plus 3 Tinks are flying in a different way. Kind of a challenge to find the different ones.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time, it's not a race. Sometimes I had to hurry because I was low on time. I've been off work due to an illness, so was able to work on it for hours at a time.
