Good advice to cut lining using your outer pieces, but did you use your pattern piece to cut the outer after it was quilted? And I do fully support the leaving of the extra fabric on back! It will make you smile, knowing it's there! Great job!!

So nice - I appreciate you showing and describing the process of working on it - that helps a lot! The little piece of fabric, you know the Amish also put a mistake in every quilt by intention! They want to say with it: Nothing is perfect in our world - only God is. Thats what I heard ... Thanks a lot for sharing.
