Your bag is lovely and it looks sturdier compared to some others ....did you ad anything?

Thank you Emmy... I'm not sure why it is stiffer than others... I use utility cloth fabric from Joann Fabrics and Warm & Natural batting. The scrap pieces are quilting fabric and the base and interior pockets are home dec fabric. I did cut done the strap width 1/2". My daughter admired it when I was making it and called it a beach bag...so guess what she is getting for her b'day...I will also include and oversized bath towel, binding the towel with the base fabric... Cheryl
