What materials did you use? A mix of cotton scraps with a dog theme.

What are you most proud of? The zippered pocket. I have not seen a bag pattern with a zippered pocket before. Tara made it easy, and I do feel smarter.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the videos first and go step by step. Don't rush the binding, it's a pain in the neck but you really need to do it right. I had to rip out some of mine and start over, but I'm glad I did.

Beautifully done! Is Queenie small enough to fit in your bag?

Thanks everyone. No, Queenie is 93 lbs of lab/hound love.

So cute! Thanks for the tip regarding the binding! Did you make yours smaller?

Yes, I just took 2 inches off the side seam and 1 inch off the handle. I'm making a bigger one with my dog prints for my local shelters "spay-ghetti" dinner.
