What was your inspiration?

My daughter loves tinker bell.!This cake was made for her, for her 3rd birthday. She was so excited with the cake and then she told me I had to make Tinkerbell a house!

What are you most proud of?

I love how Tinker bell turned out! I was worried about her wings. I failed 2 times before the third time was the charm. Just hours before her birthday party! Everything on the cake is edible!( Well except the flower stamen.) Tinker bell's wings are made from home made hard candy. All the flowers and Tinker bell are made from gum paste. This was my first time making roses, daffodils, tiger lilies and pansies. ,

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Plan ahead and make lots of extra flowers and foliage. You will use more than you realize!
