Tin Woodman of Oz bookmark

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Tin Woodman of Oz bookmark »

Instructions

This was a fast and fun project to make. I love how he came out. The pattern had picture tutorials which were really helpful.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Funky, Cute, Classic, Traditional, Outdoorsy, Whimsical

Materials

It uses small amounts of crochet thread and many colors can be used so it is a great project to use up small amounts of crochet thread. It also needed about 60 yards metallic silver or gray thread (or choice of body and ax head color) Other materials Needed: 1 inch square (2.5cm) card stock or white felt piece (or choice of clock face color) Small amount of polyester fiberfill Tapestry needle Washable fabric glue

What was your inspiration?

Living in Kansas, I felt like the wizard of oz would be a great series of reading character bookmarks. Here is my rendition of the tin woodman of Oz.

What are you most proud of?

I think he came out really great. What a great gift for my father who loves the woods and has a heart.
