What was your inspiration?
I won an auction for some teeny tiny watch pieces, and have been wanting to do a clock inspired piece. The hands, stem and small gear in this piece are from former watches!
What are you most proud of?
I have never used alcohol inks before, and I like how the blank turned out with a gradient of color, instead over the whole thing. I used Paint Shop Pro to superimpose the watch face and the Man-in-the-moon face, which I glued to a circular blank, then covered with Dimensional Magic.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Try something new!
