What materials did you use? Quilting cotton and ribbon for the dress. The giraffe is made out of a loosely woven fabric I found at JoAnn's.

What are you most proud of? How cute she is :) I am in love with her!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time figuring out the steps. The directions are quite vague. It also requires quite a bit of hand sewing, so be prepared. I love hand sewing and enjoyed creating her. I took enough pictures as I worked on her to create a tutorial but haven't quite gotten it up on my blog yet (http://augustmorning.blogspot.com). I didn't know if there would be enough interest or not in a tutorial. Let me know if you are interested and I'll put it together (but you have to get the book and/or pattern...I'm not all about illegal sharing).

The pattern is from the book "Tilda's Studio" by Tone Finnegar. I was just offering to write up a tutorial on my blog for people that had the pattern but couldn't figure out the instructions.

I just made 2 of these this week. I actually stumbled on the pattern before I realized it was from a book. So I used that one but still bought 2 books to play around with. Some of the pieces are fiddly and there's no written explanation for assembling the trousers which threw me for a bit. But I worked through it and am happy overall with my results. My giraffe is in my projects gallery.
