Materials

The TIlda fabric and some cotton for clothes. Stuffing and floss and ribbon and anything I need to embellish them. It is so fun to make them look real. I get a kick out of making the faces look so cute with blush, eyes and embroidered noses.

What was your inspiration?

Sweet Home Decor book by Tone Finannger. Need I say more?

What are you most proud of?

Thankful that I am able to sew these dolls.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use fabric for Tilda dolls from the UK. It is the best for such things. I tried lots of other fabric and should have just gone ahead and bought the good stuff and not wasted tons of money on other kinds. I have a drawer full of tan, ginger, brown fabric that isn't as good. I will use it but Tilda ginger and tan fabric right from the UK is the best! Trust me I know......
