The charm was the inspiration. I found it at Ben Franklin's now AC Moore, and it reminded me of a tidal wave.

The time and energy put into this necklace and how well it turned out
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience is the key, make sure you are awake and prepared to make mistakes, when braiding the strands together have one side taped to a table!
