Instructions

I did these mittens using Marly Bird’s pattern with a few minor changes. I did k1 p1 ribbing, started the gusset thumb earlier than written, and I also decreased earlier than written. Otherwise, my mittens would have been way too long. I decided to do the thrums in a decorative zig zag pattern.

I'm thinking of making a beanie for my SIL. He has black hair and I'm wondering if the thrums shed in your hair. Will you let me know? Your set looks great, your Dad will love them !!

Thanks! I doubt they will shed...if anything, they may felt together. After my dad wears it for a while, I guess I'll find out! I'll let you know!
