Instructions

I just cut out some squares of cotton fabric (~16 inches) - sewed some piping around the edge - then sewed the two pieces (front and back) together (rsf) and left an opening to turn...turned it, stuffed it and sewed the opening shut.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Cute, Whimsical, Casual

Materials

Cotton Fabrics, Piping, Polyester fiberfill, and Polyester thread, sewing supplies & tools.

What was your inspiration?

My daughter...she loves Manatees. I found this cute Manatee cotton fabric and asked her what she wanted me to make with it - and she requested some throw pillows...so here they are.

What are you most proud of?

How nice they look with the piping.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The piping is probably the hardest part about this whole project - and that is not hard - it helps to have a zipperfoot to sew the piping to the edge, but it can be done without one.
