What materials did you use? Christmas Cotton fabrics, batting 'The Three Women of Christmas Table runner' pattern by Carol Honderich
What are you most proud of? I love how it turned out especially the foundation-pieced ribbon border. Also as I thought on these three special women of Christmas, Elizabeth, Mary and Anna, as I made their blocks, has helped me to learn valuable lessons as I studied their lives and experiences in the Bible, their story is found in the book of Luke chapters 1 and 2.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? With this pattern there are three different piecing techniques... traditional piecing with template, English Paper Piecing and Foundation Paper Piecing. Foundation paper piecing is wonderful but I had great difficulty with the English Paper Piecing (Mary's Star) make sure to use the adhevsive! Don't look too close at the middle star... not my best piecing eek! Now I still have to decide how to quilt it!
