3 fat quarters for the center with a cream cotton blender
What was your inspiration?
I saw the fabric and loved the two together but wanted something small to work on. I sat down on EQ and designed the main part. Then covered the quilt top with tracing paper and drew the lines for free motion quilting and the scalloped edge. I'm remaking it with a Christmas theme now. The flower will be a pointsettia, then I will make it again with a sunflower and fall colors. After that I plan to try to make a pattern that I may try to sell.
What are you most proud of?
The quilting. It was done on the HandiQuilter Sweat16 and is all free motion.
