What materials did you use? I used batiks throughout the quilt.

What are you most proud of? I'm proud to have finished the quilt and it turned very nicely.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? My advice is to go slowly allowing plenty of time to check your quarter in seam allowances and to square your blocks as you create them. I found a very easy pattern to follow.

how does one obtain the pattern for this? I just assumed it would be available for downloading.

I found the Rail Fence pattern at www.about.com/quilting. They have lots of patterns for beginners to expert.

Beautiful! I am just getting back into this course - I needed to make something to quilt and I have been busy with work the last few months. I want to get something like this done - that I can quilt without too much problem. Your quilt came out really nice! Congratulations on finishing a quilt from start to finish. I am hoping I will be able to post a picture soon of my project.
