Instructions

A friend showed me how to make the flowers. It takes about thirty minutes to make a 6" square.

Materials

Many shades of yarn for the flowers, green yarn for the "leaves" and denim for joining, hook and tapestry needle.

What was your inspiration?

I love flowers and colors and wanted every square to have a different color flower. The many colored flowers afghan is used in our guest room. The white flower is used on our bed.

What are you most proud of?

This afghan is so pretty at the foot of the bed and most of the squares were made by my crochet group, Crocheters of America.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

These squares are easy once you learn how to make the flower. You can use one color flower all over or many colors. My group is making red flower squares now.
