What materials did you use? Bernat Crochet Cotton #5. Lacis tatting shuttle.

It seems as though I might be getting a bit better. The butterfly on the far right is the latest and, in my opinion, looks at least marginally better than the other two. It didn't take as long and wasn't as frustrating to make anyway.

Flying flowers...I love that! Actually, these three butterflies were all made with Bernat size 5 crochet cotton.
