Pineapple my favourite crochet pattern. But a month? I feel I'm pretty fast with a needle...but a month? It is a wonderful piece to be treasured for sure. Just if you serve turnkey dinner with cranberries and wine - please be careful...It is truly beautiful.

typo should be 2 months. 1 for making the squares 1 for putting them together.

lol, gfcupcake, I have beautiful overlay tablecloths and linens that people are ALWAYS 'feeding'. I don't stress...just take all the linens and place them in the washer on soak with cold water and bleach. No worries, the next day I wash them in cold water with detergent as usual. What is the point of having so many beautiful pieces if you can't see and use them? :) Please note that mine are white to pastel in color. You would have to use color-safe bleach for darker items. ENJOY!

Beautiful. And, do use. To guard against stains, and be non-intimidating to your guests, use a clear vinyl cover over the top. I have a sister-in-law that does this over a variety of small dollies on her table. Looks great and preserves those treasured creations.
