A picture I took on vacation, with a reflection of me in my son's glasses...

What are you most proud of?

The depth of color achieved with something as simple as colored pencils.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Find a picture you like and enjoy!

Hi ladies, so the glasses come from a photo of my son. I printed out the picture on EQ Printables fabric made for printing pictures on fabric. Then I cut it out leaving a 1/4" and press it under and then machine appliqus them down. Notice the black fabric at the end? The picture ended and I extended the glasses for the piece by adding regular fabric. I then quilted around the lenses to make them stand out. Glad you liked it!
