Instructions
Jeans legs have an inside and an outside seam. One will be a lapped seam, the other will be a serged seam. Take out whichever is the lapped seam, never take out the serged one. Fuse down your fabric pieces & then go around the edges with decorative stitching. Redo the lapped seam using the same color thread & a triple stitch. You may need a jeans foot on your machine. Use a heavy needle.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Izzie's a Wiz fan. She asked me to buy this fabric when she saw it. I made her a skirt & a throw pillow from a couple of the panels and used some of the leftovers to theme her jeans. I made a shirt to match, as well.
What are you most proud of?
She loved them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have a lot of machine needles on hand. That seam is tough.
