What was your inspiration?

When my friend realized I crocheted, he asked that I make him a blanket in these colors. He was looking for something to remind him of some good times, when he was a kid. I found this pattern and it begged to be used.

My dog loved it, too. She was on that thing as soon as I got it out, every time I worked on it.

What are you most proud of?

The balance of colors, and the even stitches turned out better than I expected. It looks so uniform!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is pretty mindless, but I made some odd mistakes because of it. Just make sure you look it over every couple of rows to be sure you haven't added waves where there shouldn't be any.

I've used the Project Linus ripple pattern alot. I found it helps just to keep counting to make sure you are staying in pattern and aren't adding or decreasing. I've made the pattern more than a dozen times and I still count. Saves ripping out. Your's came out looking great! Laura

The unexpected touch of green seems to bring it all together...very well balanced.
