What was your inspiration?
My great niece has severe autism and she enjoys Mr Tumble because he uses sign language like her and he uses disabled children on his show. She loves the bright colours.
What are you most proud of?
She was sleeping in her baby brothers room while I painted so she didn't see any of it until it was finished and her face, her reaction, she was jumping up and down and clapping her hands, that was the best feeling.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used pencil and lightly drew the picture on the wall before attempting any painting.
