Ever since I started making bags I have been experimenting with diferent things, I learn something new every time.

Materials

Med weight Linen, Satin for the lining and the handles were braided with one piece of the green fabric, one of the printed and for strenght I use one strip of orange vinyl.

I thank all of you for your wonderful comments, In reply to sewing with leather, I have used a teflon foot and that has worked well for me.

Ladies for ome reason I can't reply to each comment, sometimes I can and sometimes it wont let me. I just want to thank all of you for the wonderful comments, and to let you know that I buy everything on EBay, and have been for over 10 years. I find everything I need for my bags. Also I go to thrift stores. Good lock

I too wondered about where to get buckram (other than ordering it) and just happen to see some at my local Hobby Lobby! i saw woven interfacing there as well (didn't see either at Joann Fabrics). Hopefully you have a Hobby Lobby within driving distance....
