What was your inspiration?
This is a commissioned piece for a 3 year old girl whose favourite colours are yellow and orange. I was going to do a more traditional dresden plate quilt, but in the end decided that a bit of whimsy was required! :)
What are you most proud of?
It's my own design and all pieced and quilted on my little Brother machine. The quilting of the wind was challenging on such a small machine, but I think it worked out pretty well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to try! It's never as hard as we think it will be! :)
