What are you most proud of? I love the colors in her skirt. I don't' remember it being a "kit" though, but it may have been.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I just followed the pattern.

Actual name of this pattern is "THE SAMPLER". It was in a kit by Janlynn-The Janlynn Corporation. Designed by: Stoney Creek Collection. It was a kit. I found the pattern last evening-quite by accident-right where I put it and forgot it- almost 20 years ago!

I like Norman Rockwell too - he painted such poignant memories of 20th century American history. Nice emboidery, Hellen! Patricia

Thanks! I'm glad you like Norman Rockwell, too. This photo really doesn't do justice to his work.

Just a comment on the square dance girl-it took me 3 days to make her outfit-very tedious blouse pintucks, and lace inserts on her skirt, but I enjoyed every tiny stitch! I never had a daughter, but enjoy making doll clothes-little girl still in me, I suppose...
